Hello
This is Nakajima from AZSTOKE Co., Ltd.
This is the purpose of this project.
"I want to keep setting up tents at SKYSQUARE!!!"
When we go to SKYSQUARE to work, setting up tents for resting is a lot of work.
However, it is important to avoid placing a tent directly on the ground as it can cause mold and other problems.
I wanted a tent that would always stay up, but a common option is a tent set up on a wooden deck.
It is difficult to install a wooden deck when the location of the building and other aspects have not yet been decided.
Something that can be easily repositioned and raised off the ground so that a tent can be set up
Hmm, "Palette is good."
So I decided to consider buying a palette.
However, if you purchase a new pallet, it will cost about 4,000 yen per pallet.
If the pallets are 1m square, a simple calculation will show that if the tent is 5m long, 25 pallets will be needed, which works out to 4,000 x 25 = 100,000 yen.
I didn't want to spend 100,000 yen on a temporary installation, so I looked on Yahoo! Auctions and found some for 500 yen each.
The contents are said to be damaged.
Even if it was a little damaged, the purpose was to set up a tent, so it was okay for 500 yen.
So I decided to go buy it.

1. Rent a 3 ton dump truck from Taiyo Construction Equipment Rental
We needed a truck for transportation, so as usual we rented a 3-ton dump truck from Taiyo Construction Equipment Rental.
Until now I had been renting 2-ton or 4-ton trucks, but I decided to rent a 3-ton dump truck because I wanted to know what it felt like to drive a truck in between.
A 4-ton dump truck is larger than a 2-ton dump truck, giving it the presence of a large vehicle.
A 2-ton dump truck can be driven with the same feeling as a normal car, but the load capacity of a 2-ton truck is small to begin with, so this time I decided to try a 3-ton dump truck, which is in between the two!

2. Pick up the item
We will rent a truck and pick it up at 7am.
I could have it shipped to me, but this time it was only available for pick-up.
I'm here to pick it up.
However, it costs more to have it delivered than to rent a truck and pick it up.
Well, it's only natural since I'm not taking into account the labor costs of my own efforts, but I decided to do the collection work myself since it was experience.
At this point, it's too late to realize that the pick-up location is farther away than you thought.
I have no choice but to do my best...even in the traffic jams...

3. Arrived!! Lots of pallets
When we arrived there were lots of pallets. This is a company that mainly deals in pallets, so I purchased my pallets from them.
It ended up being a total of 26 palettes, so that's 13,000 yen cheaper!!!
There are many different types, but I ask that they be collected in the same height.

4. Transport to SKYSQUARE completed
It was a long journey, but we finally arrived!
Anyway, we unloaded all the pallets and finished for the day. It took more than 3 hours to get to the site, so it was quite a distance...
This is where you will return the rented dump truck.

5. Palette placement
We will rearrange the pallets on a different day.
For now, let's line them up based on size.
The sizes were all different but it turned out like this.

The pallets are connected with cable ties to prevent them from coming apart.

6. Install the plywood
The pallets are full of holes, so if you set up a tent like that, the legs will fall out.
Set the plywood.

7. Cover the ground with protective sheeting
Since it gets cold from the ground, we put down a protective sheet to keep it warm! This completes the ground.

8. Tent setup begins
I've tried a lot of different tents, but the one-pole tent seems to be the best.
Although we are not in an area that receives heavy snowfall, this can prevent water from accumulating due to snow or rain.
It also has the image of being wind resistant.

9. The tent is complete!
We laid the pallets and set up the tent!!
The pallets allow the wind to pass through nicely, so we were able to set up the tent safely off the ground.

So, we were able to set up the tent without any problems.
We would like to utilize this to further expand the possibilities of SKYSQUARE.
We look forward to your continued support of SKYSQUARE.
