[SKYSQUARE] Creating a facility where people can stay!!! First of all, how do I apply for tree cutting?

Updated: Oct 11

We are working hard every day to get SKYSQUARE's field studio up and running as soon as possible.

And the application for felling the trees has been completed!!!

You may be wondering, "Logging?"

The reason is

A new accommodation facility will be built at SKYSQUARE!!!

To make 24-hour recording possible, it is essential that we be able to stay there, and as it would be a hassle to travel every time we move forward with the project, we are currently planning to create a facility where people can stay.

The land (200 tsubo) on which we are currently considering building a facility is classified as residential land, but there are trees standing there like in a forest.

Planned felling area

The image shows the area scheduled for felling.

First, a plan must be made to cut down the trees, and then an application is required to cut them down.

The application process also requires the preparation of documents that require specialized knowledge, and we have to buy a tree encyclopedia, which creates problems that are different from simple construction in urban areas.

The documents were created by visiting the city hall many times and consulting with specialists.

Finally, I was able to submit the documents.

It is under the jurisdiction of the Forestry Agency.

You can download it from this website.

The necessary requirements for the materials are

-Types of felled trees

・Route after felling

- Age of felled trees

- Felling area

・Post-harvest planning

Of course, we are considering paying a professional company to cut down the trees,

In order to be able to record the sounds of felling trees, we have to get used to cutting trees.

In order to manage things, I think you need to understand for yourself what kind of management is required and gain experience in doing so.

You will also need a way to dispose of cut tree branches.

I always believe that the quickest way to understand these things is to actually try them out, and that it's important to just try things you have no experience with.

To achieve this, rather than relying on a contractor to do everything, we first move forward with actual experience, submitting a cutting application and cutting down the trees ourselves.

I obtained a chainsaw felling license so I can cut trees freely, and I would like to put that to good use here.
