Hello.
This is Nakajima from AZSTOKE Co., Ltd.
In this issue of SKYSQUARE Road-012, we will introduce the plan to create a huge pit in SKYSQUARE Road-006. Civil engineering work requires the notification of the excavation of buried cultural properties.
The application has been completed and permission to drill has been granted!
So I think I'll try digging it out myself.

■ Background
Now that the application for excavation has been completed and permission has been granted, the first thing we need to do is find out how much excavation we should do.
To do this, we need to dig it up and find out how well it actually blocks outside noise.
So we decided to just give it a go, and started excavating.
■ Excavator dig, dig, dig
We use a bulldozer to level the ground, spreading the pile of soil over the entire area.
I added soil to the whole area.
The area has become larger without the mountains, but in its current state it is still not enough to level the ground and will simply turn into mud if it absorbs water.
■ Roughly completed excavation!!! On to the next step
After digging about 1m deep, we climbed down to check the sound and confirmed that the sound of the river had been significantly reduced !!!
To dig any further we will need to consider retaining the soil and ways to drain the water, so we will stop for now and think about retaining the soil.
