▢Is it possible to rent a 7 ton truck?
I went into a construction machinery rental company and rented a 7-ton excavator.
However, in order to rent a 7-ton excavator, it seems you need to have your own truck with a loading capacity of 8 tons, so I was unable to rent a 7-ton excavator.
The maximum load capacity of the rental truck is 4 tons, so they said they could rent us a 3 ton excavator.
Therefore, last time we had no choice but to borrow a 3-ton excavator, and we decided to use that to test it.
The 3-ton excavator is small, and recording it at the size we wanted was difficult, which presented a major challenge.

▢ Solution - I have no choice but to buy it -
So I decided that the only solution was to buy it, and finally I went ahead and bought it.
And finally the Yanmar 7 ton excavator arrived.
As you can see from the photo below, the size of 3t and 7t is completely different.
The range of motion has increased considerably
The drop height has been significantly improved.
The size of the gripper has also more than doubled, which has dramatically increased the width and strength of the object it can grasp.
We continue to move forward towards completing the field studio.
